When I joined Innovative a little less than a year ago I made a decision to improve my health, not just change a number on the scale. I enlisted the help of personal trainer, Andrea Zelazny. Andrea and I have worked closely together through this journey and her guidance has been so valuable. Andrea has helped me to learn how to combine cardio, weight training and resistance training so that I can achieve my fitness goals and continue to challenge my body. One of my favorite cardio activities is Zumba class. I usually attend at least once per week and besides a great workout I have a lot of fun with a great group of people. In addition to helping me develop a workout plan, Andrea also got me signed up to use dotFit so that I can track what I'm eating and be more mindful of the choices I make. I know that I would have never made the progress I have made without working with a trainer. It was a great investment in me (and yes, we all deserve to invest in ourselves now and then). Even though I have achieved many health and fitness goals, my plan is to continue to work with Andrea regularly and focus on maintaining my health and fitness.
